Notably, SPECS AR glasses are not required to use SPECS Intelligence. However, with SPECS glasses, personal context extends into the physical world. For example, travelers can say “Hey SPECS” for instant flight and hotel updates. Likewise, users can ask SPECS for a full daily briefing before work.
Privacy, Availability, and Early Access
Regarding privacy, users control what they connect to SPECS Intelligence. Importantly, Snap personnel cannot access personal content used within the service. Moreover, this data will never train AI models or power personalized ads. SPECS Intelligence relies on on-device processing alongside secure cloud infrastructure. Thus, security protections apply wherever data travels.
Users can join the waitlist at specs.com/intelligence or through the SPECS app. Full early access will roll out exclusively via the SPECS Mac app. Selected users will receive email invitations to connect their everyday accounts.
Starting today, U.S. users aged 18+ can download the SPECS iOS app. No invitation is required for this preview. By connecting Google accounts, users gain insights from Gmail and Calendar data. However, this mobile preview excludes advanced anticipatory suggestions found in the full service.
