Snowflake announced a multi-year strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services. This historic alliance directly targets the acceleration of Enterprise Agentic AI Adoption worldwide. The agreement includes a massive $6 billion infrastructure commitment from Snowflake over five years. This investment covers Graviton compute and critical AI spend on the cloud provider.
“AI has generated enormous excitement, but for enterprises, the real challenge and opportunity is turning intelligence into action. We are moving into the era of the agentic enterprise, where AI systems don’t just answer questions, but help organizations reason over trusted data, coordinate workflows, and drive real business outcomes. With AWS, we are making it easier for enterprises to bring AI directly to governed data, so they can move faster, operate with greater clarity, and create measurable impact at scale,” said Sridhar Ramaswamy, CEO of Snowflake.
Expanding Global Cloud Architecture for Intelligent Systems
AWS leadership also values the long-term relationship, which began when Snowflake was founded eleven years ago.
“Enterprises are rapidly moving from experimenting with AI to putting intelligent agents to work that drive real business outcomes. Snowflake has built on AWS since day one, and their deepened commitment to run on Graviton delivers the world-class performance, flexibility, and cost savings customers need to run data warehousing and AI workloads at scale,” said Matt Garman, CEO of AWS.
The expanded technical architecture keeps sensitive information completely secure. Snowflake Cortex AI allows corporate teams to deploy applications for text-to-SQL and sentiment analysis. The framework also processes summarization and entity extraction without moving data outside secure perimeters. Additionally, the software utilizes GPU-accelerated Amazon EC2 instances for model training and inference.
Financially, Snowflake surpassed $7 billion in lifetime AWS Marketplace sales. The company exceeded $2 billion in sales during the 2025 calendar year alone. To support this growth, expansion is underway in 10 new regions. These locations include Auckland, Cape Town, Bangkok, and the AWS European Sovereign Cloud.
Active corporate customers already leverage these combined tools to eliminate data silos. Startups and global brands like Fetch and Hex construct highly successful automated applications.
“AI is deeply embedded in how Fetch builds and operates every day, and our work with Snowflake and AWS is strengthening that foundation. With Snowflake Cortex AI, we’ve deployed a semantic agent that allows our sales teams to query campaign data in natural language and get instant insights. This enables faster, more informed decision-making across our business to deliver more value for our brand partners,” said Daniel Block, General Manager of Revenue and Partnerships, Fetch.
Other tech executives confirm that robust security remains non-negotiable for modern software deployment.“Snowflake on AWS is the foundation that many of our customers rely on to move fast with data. For teams using Hex to explore, analyze, and build with AI, having that layer be secure, governed, and performant isn’t a nice-to-have; it’s what makes enterprise AI adoption real,” said Caitlin Colgrove, Co-Founder and CTO, Hex.
Both organizations will demonstrate their unified vision for Enterprise Agentic AI Adoption at Snowflake Summit 26.
