At IFA 2025, Samsung Electronics introduced its vision for AI Home: Future Living, Now. The showcase demonstrated how AI-powered living is already becoming a reality, with solutions designed for everyone.
Cheolgi Kim (CK), Executive Vice President and Head of Digital Appliances at Samsung, said the company is moving beyond smart devices. “AI Home adapts to your needs and supports your life in the background, enabling people to live more fully,” he stated.

Samsung’s AI Home is built to make living more convenient, efficient, healthy, and secure. According to Samsung research, 66% of consumers are excited about AI-enabled homes. Many expect streamlined daily tasks and better control via voice or phone commands.
With SmartThings automation, AI Home adjusts lighting, temperature, and blinds to sync with weather conditions. Families benefit from shared wellness checks, personalized sleep settings, and nutrition planning, enhancing both comfort and togetherness.
Energy efficiency remains a top priority for users. With SmartThings Energy, AI Home can cut washing machine energy use by up to 70%. Security is equally crucial. Samsung Knox Vault protects sensitive data at the hardware level, while Knox Matrix ensures ecosystem-wide security across connected devices.
Bespoke AI Appliances Enhance Living
Samsung also introduced its latest Bespoke AI appliances with advanced features:
- AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra: Detects even transparent liquids with upgraded AI object recognition.
- AI Washer: Delivers Grade A energy efficiency with AI Wash+.
- AI Dishwasher: Optimizes cycles based on dish dirt levels, with auto door opening for faster drying.
- Extractor Induction Hob: Saves kitchen space with integrated ventilation.
Vision AI and Entertainment Innovation
Samsung’s Vision AI Companion creates human-like interactions, redefining home entertainment. Through open collaboration with Google, Microsoft, and Perplexity, Samsung enhances AI capabilities.

- The Movingstyle TV: Portable touchscreen with adaptive AI and built-in battery.

Expanding Galaxy AI Ecosystem
Samsung also extended Galaxy AI, originally introduced with the Galaxy S24 series. By the end of 2025, over 400 million devices worldwide will feature Galaxy AI, bringing multimodal capabilities to a wider ecosystem.
