Qlik announced expanded capabilities today for Snowflake users to optimize AI and analytics initiatives. The update builds directly on innovations first introduced at Qlik Connect 2026. This announcement aligns with the Snowflake Summit 26 event. The integration establishes a Trusted Enterprise Context across modern business data workflows.
Organizations frequently face bottlenecks when moving past initial AI pilots. Connecting current data and preserving business meaning often creates operational risk. Qlik resolves this problem by moving data from SAP, mainframes, SaaS, databases, and streaming environments. The system connects Snowflake data with governed data products, lineage, quality signals, and business context.
“Snowflake customers do not need more AI experimentation around the edges. They need a practical way to get more value from Snowflake by bringing in more enterprise data, preserving business context, and connecting Snowflake and Cortex workflows to governed intelligence across the business. Qlik helps do that with the flexibility and control enterprises expect,” said Josh Good, VP, Tech Ecosystems & Strategy at Qlik.
App Integration and Strategic Partnerships
Josh Good serves as the VP of Tech Ecosystems and Strategy at Qlik. The Elite Technology Partner helps joint customers accelerate AI value while preserving control. To do this, Qlik developed a Snowflake Native App for the Qlik Model Context Protocol Server.
The new application connects Snowflake Intelligence and Cortex Agents directly to Qlik Cloud. This tool lets Cortex Agents access Qlik-governed assets. These assets include specific Qlik apps, KPIs, formulas, chart data, and lineage.
Amy Kodl occupies the role of SVP of Worldwide Alliances and Channels at Snowflake. Kodl notes that the system helps teams move faster from data to insight.
“Snowflake is the platform for the AI era, making it easy for enterprises to innovate faster and get more value from data. Qlik complements that foundation by helping joint customers connect more enterprise data and business context to Snowflake workflows, so teams can move faster from data to insight to action with the governance required at enterprise scale.”
The infrastructure works efficiently with existing technology investments to avoid extra stacks. Qlik supports CDC, streaming, batch, and event-driven movement from hundreds of sources. This data flexibility delivers Trusted Enterprise Context to complex operational environments.
