Marti Technologies, Inc. has expanded its Marti ride-hailing service to 10 more cities across Türkiye. The latest launches increase Marti’s presence to 30 cities nationwide. The company said the expanded network now covers approximately 85% of Türkiye’s GDP. Marti described the move as another major step in its plan to build a nationwide ride-hailing network. The expansion follows stronger-than-expected demand across markets outside Istanbul. Supply levels and growth rates in these cities have also exceeded the company’s expectations.
Marti Sees Stronger Demand Outside Istanbul
The company reported continued growth in its customer base outside Türkiye’s largest city. As of August 11, 2026, riders outside Istanbul represented 45% of Marti’s ride-hailing users. That figure stood at 35% on August 11, 2025. The increase shows stronger adoption of Marti’s ride-hailing platform across other Turkish markets. Marti also recorded growth among registered drivers outside Istanbul. Their share increased from 25% to 36% during the same period. The company linked this growth to rising demand for ride-hailing services in cities beyond Istanbul. It also pointed to limited substitute transportation options in several of these markets.
“The pace and breadth of our growth outside Istanbul has been particularly encouraging,” said Oguz Alper Oktem, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Marti. “The strong demand and rapid adoption we are driving across our markets are reinforcing our confidence in the opportunity to build Türkiye’s largest and most comprehensive ride-hailing network. With this expansion, Marti now reaches 30 cities across Türkiye, representing approximately 85% of the country’s GDP, and significantly increasing the scale and reach of our platform.”
Marti Adds 10 New Cities to Its Network
The newest expansion covers Balıkesir, Çanakkale, Edirne, Erzurum, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Sivas, Şanlıurfa, Trabzon, and Van. Marti selected these markets after assessing local ride-hailing demand. The company also considered the availability of alternative transportation services in each market. The latest launches follow Marti’s entry into the ride-hailing market in 2022. Since then, the company has continued expanding its mobility platform across Türkiye. Before the latest rollout, Marti’s services reached approximately 80% of Türkiye’s GDP. The new launches raise that coverage to approximately 85%. The company expects the broader footprint to strengthen its position in Türkiye’s mobility market. In addition, the expansion increases access to Marti’s ride-hailing services for customers in major regional markets. The company continues to target a nationwide network. Therefore, the latest expansion supports its longer-term growth strategy.
Marti Maintains 2026 Financial Guidance
Marti has also reaffirmed its previously announced financial guidance for fiscal year 2026. The company continues to forecast $85 million in revenue. It also expects $7 million in Adjusted EBITDA for the fiscal year. Meanwhile, Marti expects the newly launched cities to contribute positively to financial performance from 2027. The company’s latest expansion therefore combines geographic growth with its existing financial targets. Marti expects the additional markets to create further opportunities as adoption develops. The expansion also strengthens the company’s presence beyond Istanbul. As demand continues to increase, Marti is positioning its ride-hailing platform for broader nationwide adoption.
