Leostream announced it will provide a fully supported migration path for HP Anyware users. This initiative addresses the product’s upcoming end-of-life. The company is providing documentation and guidelines to help customers maintain their existing virtual and hybrid desktop infrastructure. This ensures that high performance and productivity are preserved as environments grow or as more complex workflows are implemented.
The platform delivers multi-vendor and multi-device support. Employees can access resources from PCoIP Zero clients, PCoIP Soft clients, and devices with Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems. These environments can use any host, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. With HP’s announcement that it will stop selling Anyware licenses as of next year, the Leostream platform facilitates a smooth transition to other remoting providers. Organizations can also migrate to more advanced display protocols such as Amazon DCV or Mechdyne TGX.
Supported Migration Paths for High-Performance Workloads
The program is designed to help users contend with the termination of Anyware without disruption. Karen Gondoly serves as the CEO of Leostream. She commented on the migration support at the NAB Show today.
“HP’s decision to EOL Anyware will impact those that need a powerful remoting platform for high-performance and HPC-adjacent workloads, so we want to offer our full support to joint customers as well as organizations that aren’t already using our platform,” said Gondoly. “Our joint customers are in good shape, and for others, we can assist with a migration path that leverages our decade-plus of integration with HP products, to future-proof their environments against these unforeseen technology shifts so they remain in complete control of their infrastructure.”
The Leostream Remote Desktop Access Platform offers a comprehensive solution for remote access. It ensures security with strict authentication and authorization built on zero-trust concepts. The connection management system eliminates corporate VPNs with an efficient gateway. This gateway gives users access only to the specific resources they have permission to use. This inherent multi-vendor and multi-protocol support simplifies the shift to multi-cloud and hybrid cloud infrastructures. It allows businesses to scale workforce and data without added complexity.
