Keysight Introduces Purpose-Built 1.6T Ethernet AI Workload Emulation Platform to Validate Next-Generation AI Fabrics

Keysight Debuts Purpose-Built 1.6T Ethernet AI Workload Emulation Platform

Keysight Technologies recently announced the new AresONE 1600GE platform. This solution provides purpose-built AI Workload Emulation for 1.6T Ethernet. It helps validate next-generation AI fabrics over 224G SerDes electrical lanes. Modern data centers face growing pressure from intense AI demands. Consequently, this platform allows for massive scale-out and scale-up testing. It specifically addresses the challenges of link integrity and congestion.

The platform integrates the Keysight AI Data Center Builder (KAI DC Builder) software. This combination enables realistic emulation of collective communication patterns. Furthermore, the hardware supports high-density ports in a single rack-mount system. This ensures that engineers can identify performance bottlenecks early. Using real-world traffic helps reduce development risks and costs.

Validating Next-Generation AI Networking Fabrics

The solution targets the transition to higher data rates in AI clusters. It provides essential AI Workload Emulation for hyperscalers and chip manufacturers. Moreover, the platform unifies physical layer validation with protocol testing. This comprehensive approach speeds up the deployment of efficient AI infrastructures. Reliable testing is critical as the market nears $200 billion by 2030.

“The move to 1.6T will be the largest and fastest cycle ever in the industry. Keysight’s additional AI validation software features, along with AresONE 1600GE hardware, will help customers scale in this new market opportunity,” said Alan Weckel, Founder and Technology Analyst, 650 Group.

“As AI workloads continue to scale, data centers are pushing speeds and complexity that the industry has never seen before. With AresONE 1600GE, Keysight provides hyperscalers and other AI innovators a practical, proven way to validate next-generation network devices and infrastructure under real-world conditions, enabling faster deployment with greater confidence and significantly less risk,” said Ram Periakaruppan, Vice President and General Manager, Keysight’s Network Test and Security Solutions.

Keysight continues to lead in high-speed digital test and emulation solutions. This launch marks a significant milestone for AI data center optimization. They aim to empower innovators with precise validation tools. Ultimately, the new platform ensures that AI fabrics handle future workloads safely. This technology sets the standard for high-performance networking validation.
