FPT and NAVER Cloud have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU). FPT is a global ICT corporation, while NAVER Cloud is one of South Korea’s largest technology companies. The agreement will expand the FPT AI Factory business across Asia-Pacific and global markets. Moreover, the two firms will pursue joint technology development, AI service delivery, and commercialization initiatives.
Under the partnership, FPT and NAVER Cloud will speed up AI development and deployment on the FPT AI Factory. Enterprises in strategic markets across Asia-Pacific and worldwide will benefit first. In addition, both companies will work toward offering HyperCLOVA X, NAVER Cloud’s hyperscale AI model, to FPT’s enterprise customers. Customers will access the model through FPT AI Factory.
Furthermore, the companies will run regular technical exchange programs. These programs aim to strengthen forward deployed engineering (FDE) capabilities. Engineers from FPT will work alongside teams from NAVER Cloud’s Vietnam Development Center and headquarters. Together, these joint teams will work directly with customers. Their tasks range from optimizing GPU infrastructure and inference performance to deploying AI agents in production.
Leaders Outline the Vision Behind the FPT and NAVER Cloud Alliance
The collaboration combines high-performance GPU cloud, inference-ready models, and service operations in one offering. As a result, enterprises can deploy AI without building their own infrastructure. Consequently, they can bring AI solutions to market faster and drive innovation across their industries.
Mr. Le Hong Viet, CEO of FPT Smart Cloud, FPT Corporation, said: “FPT has invested in advancing our AI Cloud capabilities through AI Factory, supported by engineering teams with proven experience across multiple markets. We look forward to working with NAVER Cloud to bring AI models closer to enterprise customers and develop new ways for businesses across Asia-Pacific and beyond to adopt AI with confidence and turn innovation into real business value.”
Mr. Le Xuan Loc, FPT Korea Deputy Director & Chief Delivery Officer, FPT Corporation, said: “Enterprise AI increasingly requires infrastructure, models, and engineering capabilities to work together as one integrated foundation. As organizations scale AI across operations, products, and customer experiences, access to diverse AI technologies and specialized expertise is becoming increasingly important. Through our AI-first approach and the partnership with NAVER Cloud, we are expanding the capabilities available to customers to operationalize AI at scale and create measurable business impact.”
Mr. Yuwon Kim, CEO of NAVER Cloud, stated: “Through this collaboration with FPT, NAVER Cloud can now combine the AI technologies and experience it has built up with FPT’s AI Factory and enterprise business capabilities. Building on both companies’ technology and business strengths, we will go beyond Korea and Vietnam to address customers’ diverse AI needs across the APAC market, and create a partnership that turns those efforts into real business results.”
This partnership aligns with FPT’s broader AI-first approach. The approach rests on the FleziPT end-to-end AI platform and the CASAN AI maturity framework. FPT also operates AI Factories in Vietnam and Japan. In addition, it counts more than 30,000 AI-augmented engineers globally. Notably, FPT’s AI Factories in Japan and Vietnam ranked 36th and 38th, respectively, among the world’s most powerful supercomputing systems.
FPT’s Growing AI Footprint and South Korea Presence
Meanwhile, FPT AI Factory follows the core philosophy of “Build Your Own AI.” It aims to make AI accessible and deployable for every organization. Powered by NVIDIA technologies, the platform offers an all-in-one AI Cloud solution. It currently serves more than 18,000 AI developers and over 2,000 enterprises worldwide. Moreover, the agreement with NAVER Cloud expands FPT’s global technology partner network. It also reinforces the FPT AI Factory strategy in the region.
FPT entered South Korea more than a decade ago. Since then, it has expanded across major business hubs, including Seoul, Daegu, and Pangyo. Likewise, it has become a trusted technology partner to leading enterprises. These include LG Electronics, LG CNS, Shinhan Bank, and Shinsegae I&C. Thus, FPT supports digital transformation and AI innovation across the market.
