The technology giant used the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform to transform its Inventory Man agement and enable AI-driven transformation. The platform connects systems, teams, and processes across the supply chain of FSAS Technologies, a Fujitsu subsidiary. It pro vides transparency into inventory levels and AI-enhanced recommendations about when to purchase, re-allocate, and refrain from buying materials.
The results from the first six months show significant operational improvements. FSAS Technologies, a Fujitsu subsidiary, saw a 20% reduction in excess inventory. Furthermore, the company slashed its inventory orders by 50% during this period. These optimizations achieved multi-million-dollar savings for the organization. The system provides recommendations on purchasing or reallocating resources using AI technology.
Driving Global AI Transformation
Fujitsu is now scaling these process insights across its global workforce. It uses the platform to embed AI in a real-life business context. In such a way, AI agents can automatically trigger the right action. Beyond Inventory Management, the firm is improving finance and IT service processes.
