BrainChip Holdings Ltd (ASX: BRN) has announced a strategic partnership with HaiLa Technologies to showcase a cutting-edge solution for ultra-low power edge AI connectivity. This collaboration aims to revolutionize IoT sensor applications across healthcare, environmental monitoring, and infrastructure management by optimizing compute, connectivity, and sensor intelligence for minimal power consumption.

The joint demonstration merges BrainChip’s Akida™ neuromorphic AI technology with HaiLa’s BSC2000 RFIC—an ultra-efficient backscatter communication chip compatible with Wi-Fi. The result is a breakthrough system architecture capable of running continuously connected, battery-powered sensors that operate on microwatts and can last the entire device lifetime on a single coin cell battery.

Both companies are working with OEMs and ecosystem partners to bring this power-conscious solution to market. The pairing enables real-time sensor intelligence for tasks like anomaly detection and predictive maintenance without compromising battery life—an ideal scenario for smart IoT deployments.
