AEM Broadens Elements Platform to Deliver Full-Spectrum Environmental Resilience

environmental resilience

AEM, the essential source for environmental insights, today announced an expansion of its Elements application suite. The company added Elements Weather and Elements Protect ahead of Meteorological Technology World Expo 2026. This move strengthens environmental resilience for organizations facing growing weather and hazard risks.

Together with Elements 360, the three applications form one connected suite for environmental intelligence. The suite covers enterprise-wide collaboration, forecast-driven planning, and real-time safety response. Moreover, the expansion reflects AEM’s commitment to collaborative resilience. It empowers organizations to make faster, more coordinated decisions. As a result, teams can reduce risk and strengthen preparedness.

Many organizations still rely on disconnected tools and data sources. They use them for planning, collaboration, and real-time response. However, that inconsistency creates blind spots and slows coordination. It also makes action harder when rapidly changing conditions threaten people, assets, or operations. With all three applications available together, customers can address every need from one connected platform.

A Growing Suite for Every Decision

AEM built all three applications on the environmental resilience AEM Elements® Resiliency Platform. The platform runs on AEM’s proprietary sensor networks, global environmental data, expert meteorological services, and AI-driven intelligence.

Elements Weather offers forecast-driven operational intelligence. It combines monitoring, alerting, and expert forecasting. Therefore, teams can plan for weather impacts hours to days ahead. Organizations can use it globally for operations across multiple sites or large territories. Furthermore, it pairs 24/7/365 meteorological consultation with tailored outlooks. These features help organizations plan earlier and reduce weather-related disruption.

Elements Protect focuses on real-time outdoor safety. It delivers lightning, heat stress, and severe weather alerts when a threat is imminent for a specific location. The Earth Networks Total Lightning Network® supplies the industry-leading lightning detection behind it. Consequently, organizations gain the situational awareness to act immediately and protect people on-site.

Elements 360 serves as an enterprise multi-hazard resilience application. Organizations use it to manage risk across environmental threats, from flash flooding and wildfire to potential impacts on critical infrastructure. It brings data from AEM’s proprietary networks, environmental resilience, customer-owned sensors, and third-party feeds into one shared operating picture. In turn, departments and agencies can respond collaboratively.

“When environmental hazards threaten people or operations, teams need timely and trusted intelligence they can act on immediately,” said Mark D. Miller, Chief Commercial Officer at AEM. “Elements 360, Elements Weather, and Elements Protect bring our sensor networks, forecasting, meteorologists, and platform intelligence together so customers can see risks earlier, align faster, and respond with confidence.”

All three applications share the same underlying platform. Still, customers can adopt each one independently. They can start with the application that addresses their most pressing need. Then, they can expand across the suite as their operations and risk profile grow in scale or complexity. Over time, this flexible approach helps every organization build lasting environmental resilience.
