ModMed also is joining IntrinsiQ Specialty Solutions’ Trusted Vendor Program under the agreement. The program links healthcare organizations with vetted technology vendors across multiple medical specialties. These are urology, orthopedics, ophthalmology and gastroenterology. Therefore, IntrinsiQ customers will now have access to ModMed’s specialty-specific electronic health records platform and ambient AI scribe technology.
The partnership highlights both companies’ commitment to improving operational efficiency while supporting enhanced clinical outcomes. The partnership also seeks to streamline administrative processes and introduce technology to specialty practices that enables long-term growth.
“As specialty physicians face evolving challenges and increasing pressures, we are committed to developing innovative solutions and strategic partnerships that allow us to provide more effective, tailored support to meet their needs,” said Charley Deckers, VP of Business Development and Specialty Pharmacy Solutions at IntrinsiQ. “We’re pleased to welcome ModMed to our Trusted Vendor Program as our preferred go-forward platform for our UroChartEHR practices.”
The partnership allows practices of all sizes to streamline workflows and lower operational complexity. That lets healthcare providers spend more time on patient care while they boost business performance thru integrated technology.
Specialty EHR Platform Powers Clinical and Operational Efficiency
ModMed built its EHR platform for specialty practices rather than being a legacy ambulatory system requiring extensive customization. The system was developed with practicing physicians to mirror real clinical workflows. So, providers can use one connected platform to manage documentation, scheduling, billing, inventory, patient engagement and analytics.
The platform has specialty-specific workflows with anatomical diagrams, tap-and-go documentation, and intelligent coding assistance. Additionally, ModMed Scribe 2.0 provides ambient AI documentation technology to improve physician productivity. The solution turns routine doctor-patient conversations into structured clinical notes, recommended billing codes, prescriptions, lab orders and patient education materials for the provider to review.
Integrated inventory management also allows practices to track specialty drugs and medical supplies directly from patient records. In addition, built-in analytics provide valuable insights on financial performance and clinical outcomes. Meanwhile, digital patient engagement tools make it easy to schedule online, send secure messages and electronic intake patients.
“We are honored that IntrinsiQ has selected ModMed as a trusted partner for IntrinsiQ customers,” said Joe Harpaz, co-CEO of ModMed. “For a practice to thrive, clinical care and business operations must work seamlessly together. Through this collaboration, ModMed and IntrinsiQ are giving practices a clear, well-supported path forward, backed by a company with deep specialty expertise and a long-term commitment.”
ModMed Becomes the Preferred Transition Platform
IntrinsiQ recently announced plans to sunset UroChartEHR. The company subsequently named ModMed as its preferred technology partner for customers looking to evaluate a new electronic health record platform. While customers still have the choice of any EHR vendor, IntrinsiQ believes ModMed provides a more seamless transition with less operational disruption.
Beyond supporting migration, ModMed is also investing in product innovation. The company is expanding its artificial intelligence roadmap across clinical documentation, front-office operations and revenue cycle management. That means specialty practices can keep adopting modern healthcare technology without fear of the software becoming obsolete.
In addition, ModMed offers full implementation support from its customer success team. This support enables healthcare organizations to roll out the platform efficiently while keeping up the daily operations. ModMed and IntrinsiQ are uniting to deliver scalable digital solutions for specialty practices that increase efficiency, improve patient engagement, and drive long-term clinical and operational success.
