Quintas Energy Chooses Box to Power AI-Ready Content Platform for Renewable Energy Asset Management

Quintas Energy Selects Box to Build AI-Ready Content Platform

Quintas Energy has chosen Box, Inc. as its Intelligent Content Management (ICM) platform to enhance its AI-ready content platform strategy. The move is part of the company’s broader digital transformation program to 2026. The initiative also reaffirms its commitment to improve renewable energy asset management with improved content governance, automation and intelligent workflows.

The partnership is in line with Quintas Energy’s long-term strategy of building stronger digital foundations. Consequently, the company is looking to improve its efficiency as it takes on more complex renewable energy portfolios. Documentation, governance and operational workflows continue to be integral to improving asset performance, regulatory compliance and business decision making.

As renewable energy portfolios expand, organizations are faced with managing an increasing volume of technical, contractual, financial, operational and regulatory documents. They also tend to have multiple stakeholders in multiple locations. Asset managers therefore need secure platforms that facilitate collaboration but meet governance and compliance standards.

AI Platform Enhances Asset Management Operations

Box will be used by Quintas Energy to provide a secure and intelligent content layer across its business. The platform will also utilize the company’s proprietary technology and AI program. The integration will help to capture, classify and govern business-critical content and connect documentation directly to operational workflows. As a result, teams can access reliable information faster and increase their day-to-day operational efficiency.

“At Quintas Energy, we see AI as a transformative enabler of the future of asset management, but its value depends on the quality, structure, and governance of the information behind it,” said Aida Durnes, COO at Quintas. “Our priority is to build robust digital foundations that allow us to unlock AI-driven insights across our operations. By connecting content, data and workflows more intelligently, our ambition is to empower our teams to become ‘super managers’ that are able to make faster, more informed decisions, enhance asset performance, and reinforce Quintas Energy’s position at the forefront of innovation in the renewable energy sector.”

Box Enterprise Advanced will also streamline client and asset onboarding processes. Traditionally, these activities require extensive coordination because of large volumes of technical, financial, and compliance documentation. However, the structured content environment provided by Box will reduce manual tasks, improve data quality, and accelerate operational readiness.

The platform will introduce several advanced enterprise capabilities. First, Box Automate will simplify content-centric workflows using no-code applications, intelligent forms, workflow automation, and document generation. Additionally, Box AI and Box Extract will improve productivity by supporting AI agents and automated metadata extraction, reducing the need for manual data entry.

Enterprise AI Enhances Security and Governance

Box will also strengthen enterprise security and governance. Its AI-powered security, intelligent classification, compliant content preservation, and long-term archival capabilities will help Quintas Energy meet regulatory and business requirements. At the same time, developers can create tailored applications through Box developer tools, MCP connectors, expanded APIs, and enhanced large-file support.

“Quintas Energy is redefining document management for asset management with the power of AI, transforming it from a back-office function into a strategic capability that intelligently connects documentation, assets, and operations,” said Samantha Wessels, SVP and General Manager for EMEA at Box. “As Quintas Energy advances its AI-first strategy by establishing Box as the secure content layer for its wider digitalisation program, we’re proud to support this transformation, and help create a digital environment tailored to the complex needs of asset managers, powered by Box’s enterprise-grade AI.”
