EcoOnline EcoOne announced the launch of its new connected intelligence experience, which offers real-time visibility across safety and sustainability operations. The latest innovation allows organizations to gain a single operational view and improve decision-making through AI-driven insights. This allows companies to monitor performance, identify risks and enhance operational resilience on one platform.
The new EcoOnline EcoOne experience transforms operational information into configurable dashboards featuring live trends, KPIs and business insights. Additionally, users will be able to interact with the data by asking questions in natural language, which will make it easier to find insights and reduce dependence on complex reporting processes. This approach enables safety leaders to make faster, better informed decisions with more confidence.
EcoOne provides connected operational visibility
EcoOnline developed EcoOne to support companies in moving beyond traditional compliance management. Instead, the platform provides a connected operational environment across incidents, audits, chemical safety, permit to work processes, ESG reporting, crisis management, training and other safety functions.
And it has a number of capabilities to enhance enterprise-wide visibility. These features include real-time integration across EcoOnline products, and integrated data sources. Also, organizations can set up dashboard widgets, monitor KPIs, analyze trends, track risks, benchmark operations and generate executive-level reports. It also features AI-assisted natural language queries through its “Ask my data anything” capability.
“Through EcoOne, we now have a fully integrated view of our global operations, replacing previously fragmented regional systems,” said Eduardo Lache-Chacon, Head of SHEQ Office, Hitachi Rail. “We can trend and analyse information in real time, surface issues faster, and explore the underlying data much more naturally using AI-powered insights. It gives us a far more complete understanding of what is happening across the business.”
“EcoOne’s launch marks a major step forward in EcoOnline’s vision to help organisations create safer, smarter, and more connected workplaces by transforming operational data into actionable intelligence,” said Tom Goodmanson, CEO of EcoOnline. “Organisations today are not struggling with a lack of data — they are struggling with visibility. We want our customers to offload the complexity of their safety operations onto us so they can focus on what matters most to running their business in a safer and sustainable manner. EcoOne becomes that window through which organisations can view, monitor, and respond to the constantly changing realities of protecting people and the planet.”
AI assistance strengthens safety and sustainability workflows
EcoOnline built EcoOne using a deliberate AI strategy that prioritizes safety expertise, customer feedback, and human accountability. Consequently, the platform supports frontline teams with AI assistance during safety and sustainability workflows. This guidance improves reporting quality, strengthens compliance, and promotes consistent operational practices across organizations.
Looking ahead, EcoOnline plans to introduce AI-powered actions that automate repetitive activities through specialized agents. However, employees will continue reviewing and approving every critical decision. Therefore, organizations can improve efficiency while maintaining complete operational oversight.
“Rolling out EcoOnline’s AI assistant to all users helps make our reporting clearer and more consistent across countries and languages, especially by improving the quality and accuracy of our investigations,” says Malcolm Rae, Head of Risk Systems & Data, Menzies Aviation.
Global research highlights demand for connected intelligence
EcoOnline also supported the launch with findings from its Future Insights Team research programme. The research surveyed senior leaders across EHS, ESG, operations, finance, risk management and executive leadership positions. The results indicated that organizations around the world are increasingly hungry for connected operational data.
The research found that 71% of respondents considered connected data visibility as a key business priority. Meanwhile, almost nine out of ten leaders anticipated that operational data integration would boost productivity by five percent or more. And 57 percent said they secured funding for operational data integration initiatives.
The findings also underscore the increasing need for organizations to transition from siloed compliance systems to integrated intelligence platforms. EcoOnline EcoOne connects safety and sustainability data to help organizations identify risks sooner, improve operational transparency, target corrective actions and build long-term resilience. As more organisations turn to digital safety solutions, EcoOnline EcoOne is emerging as the central platform that drives smarter, faster and better-informed operational decisions.
