UST Launches New AI Cloud Center of Excellence on AWS to Accelerate Telecom Industry Transformation

UST has introduced its new AI Cloud Center of Excellence on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The initiative aims to accelerate telecom transformation through AI-driven delivery and cloud innovation. The company designed the center to help communications service providers improve operational efficiency and modernization efforts. The new AI Cloud Center of Excellence moves beyond traditional consulting and implementation services. Instead, it serves as an intelligent delivery engine. The telecom operators can streamline transformation projects and strengthen operational performance. The telecom sector represents the first industry to benefit from this approach.

UST integrates its telecommunication know-how with the AWS cloud and artificial intelligence platform. UST employs AWS Generative AI tools such as Kiro, AWS Bedrock, and Amazon SageMaker. Moreover, the company uses AWS Transform to accelerate modernization programs. These technologies help teams develop solutions for network operations, BSS/OSS modernization, revenue assurance, migration, and customer experience improvement. As a Tier Services Partner of AWS, UST keeps building up its innovative potential. Furthermore, the collaboration supports scalable AI solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

UST officially introduced the center during TM Forum’s DTW Ignite 2026 in Copenhagen. At the event, the company also showcased UST IntelliResQ. The solution helps communications service providers accelerate incident resolution through autonomous and semi-autonomous AI operations.

AI-Powered Solutions Support Telecom Operations

The AI agents used in the UST IntelliResQ solution are created using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. The AI agents support incident management and remediation actions. In case of a significant disruption to the services, the telecom companies will be able to decrease the time for resolution.

The platform incorporates six AI agents, seven AWS services, and three industry compliance frameworks. Therefore, organizations can scale intelligent telecom operations through a repeatable model.

Aravind Nandanan, General Manager, Telecommunications, UST, highlighted the company’s vision for AI-driven transformation.

“Telecommunications providers are looking for more than simply the latest AI technology, they need practical solutions that can help modernize operations, boost efficiency, and improve customer experiences. This AI Cloud Center of Excellence on AWS for CSPs represents the evolution of our offerings from a traditional services model to intelligent, AI-driven delivery engines. By combining telecom expertise with cloud-scale AI innovation, we are helping operators move from experimentation to outcomes and creating a foundation for more autonomous and resilient operations,” said Aravind Nandanan, General Manager, Telecommunications, UST.

“UST’s new AI Cloud Center of Excellence on AWS reflects our shared commitment to helping telecommunications providers move from AI experimentation to real operational outcomes. By combining deep telecom expertise with cloud-scale AI capabilities, UST is building a repeatable model for delivering intelligent, autonomous solutions at scale—whether that’s network operations, BSS/OSS modernization, or customer experience. This is the kind of practical, outcome-focused collaboration that helps telcos accelerate innovation and build more resilient operations,” said Amir Rao, Global Director for Telco Solutions, Amazon Web Services.

UST continues preparing its workforce for future growth. The company has already trained 100 associates on AWS AI programs. That number is expected to reach 300 by the end of 2026, further strengthening the AI Cloud Center of Excellence initiative.
