Midland County, Michigan, Complete Deployments of Tyler Technologies’ Public Safety Solutions

Public Safety Solutions

Midland County, Michigan, and the Midland County Central Dispatch Authority have completed the rollout of Tyler Technologies’ Public Safety Solutions. The project includes Tyler’s Enterprise CAD and Enterprise Mobile systems. The deployment strengthens continuity and enhances daily operations across county agencies. Therefore, the update positions Tyler Technologies’ Public Safety Solutions as a vital part of the region’s emergency response workflow.

MCCDA began the replacement effort after its former vendor announced the end of support. The agency selected Tyler to ensure stable operations and avoid service disruption. The full implementation took nine months and used Tyler’s cloud-hosted platform for greater availability and reliability. As a result, Tyler Technologies’ Public Safety Solutions now support mission-critical communications in real time.

“While we worked quickly to ensure MCCDA could effectively use Tyler’s Enterprise CAD solution without interruption, much care and consideration were taken during the expedited project schedule to ensure a proper and successful deployment,” said Andrew Hittle, president of Tyler’s Public Safety Division. “With Tyler’s solutions in place, we are supporting public safety operations for five local, county, and state law enforcement agencies, twelve fire service departments, and one private EMS provider. Together, these agencies manage more than 75,000 calls for service each year.”

Additionally, Tyler’s Enterprise Mobile solution gives fiel d teams and dispatchers direct access to operational data. This capability improves coordination and supports faster response in emergency situations. It also strengthens communication between dispatch, law enforcement, fire units, and EMS providers.
