Very has said its delivery partner Yodel has been subject to a cyber-attack that caused disruption and delays to operations.
Yodel carries out fulfilment for the online retailer, which said only a small number of customers would be affected.
In an email sent to customers on Monday, Very said: “We want to make you aware that one of our delivery partners, Yodel, has experienced a cyber-incident that has caused some disruption and impacted its ability to deliver to customers.”
It said those with an outstanding delivery may experience delays as a result of the incident and would be contacted by the firm separately.
The company also said no customer payment and password information have been given to Yodel: “We are in close contact with Yodel, who are investigating the incident.
“We want to reassure you that we do not provide customer payment or password information to our delivery partners.”
