But because of the recent economic downturn, organisations from small businesses to enterprise tech companies must also do more with what they already have, driving revenue without adding headcount. In the coming year, research and consultancy firm Gartner advises companies to prepare for employee turnover that’s 50% to 75% higher than normal. Meanwhile, a recent pulse survey by business advisory firm PwC found that 95% of executives view innovation as a critical component for maintaining growth during downturns.
