Darktrace, a global leader in AI cybersecurity, has announced a major expansion in the United States. The company is opening a new 7,555-square-foot deployment center and corporate office in Dallas, Texas, to meet growing demand for its AI-powered cybersecurity solutions. This strategic move supports faster service delivery and strengthens its operational footprint in the U.S.

The Dallas deployment center will be fully operational by September 2025, boosting Darktrace’s ability to deliver up to 40,000 cybersecurity appliances per year. This will significantly reduce delivery times for U.S. customers while enhancing support for both private and federal cybersecurity clients.

Moreover, Darktrace is investing in top talent. It has appointed Eve Saltman as Chief Legal Officer & Company Secretary and Marty Overman as Executive Vice President, Sales, Americas. Both executives will play key roles in expanding Darktrace’s AI cybersecurity reach across North and South America.

Strengthening AI Cybersecurity with Local Infrastructure

The new deployment center not only enhances customer service but also provides critical support to Darktrace Federal, based in Arlington, Virginia. The facility complies with strict ISO 27001, NIST, and CMMC standards, ensuring delivery of TAA-compliant hardware for U.S. federal agencies. It also aligns with FedRAMP® High authorization, underscoring the company’s commitment to secure, AI-driven solutions for both cloud and on-premises environments.

CEO Jill Popelka highlighted the move as a strategic investment to scale the business. “The U.S. is the largest cybersecurity market. We see massive potential to grow our share here,” she said. “This expansion, combined with key executive hires, positions us to better support government and enterprise customers.”

New U.S. Executives to Drive Growth

Saltman joins Darktrace from GoPro, where she held top legal roles. She brings expertise from leading technology companies like Asana and Siebel Systems, guiding global legal and compliance teams.

“I’m excited to join Darktrace during a pivotal growth phase,” said Saltman. “With cyber threats evolving rapidly, our AI cybersecurity platform is more crucial than ever.”

Overman, who will lead U.S. sales efforts, joins from Entersekt, bringing cybersecurity sales experience from McAfee, Palo Alto Networks, and Imperva. “Darktrace’s solutions protect the most vulnerable areas of enterprise infrastructure,” she said. “I look forward to bringing this advanced technology to more organizations.”

Investing in U.S. Operations and Offices

Darktrace continues upgrading and opening offices nationwide. In addition to the Dallas expansion, recent investments include enhanced facilities in Austin, Chicago, and the Washington, DC area. The new Dallas corporate office is part of Darktrace’s long-term growth strategy following its 2024 acquisition by Thoma Bravo.

With 12 offices and around 800 U.S. employees, the company’s U.S. arm contributed 35% of global revenue in the last fiscal year ending June 2024. This latest expansion marks another milestone in strengthening Darktrace’s role as a leader in AI cybersecurity innovation.
